TERMS OF SERVICE (for Tutors):

These terms and conditions are applicable for all tutors who get assignments through us from any media.

1) To register as a tutor, you must be at least 18 years of age. Below the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian’s consent is required. .

2) Guru At Home reserves all rights to reject or refuse any registrations. 

3) The data you flexibly ought to be as precise as could be expected under the circumstances, and  try not to give false or off base data which may delude customers and Guru At Home organizers.

4) Guru At Home maintains all authority to reject confirmation of any mentors, and the privilege to unverify any recently checked guides, subordinate upon the judgment of Guru At Home facilitators.

5) Keeping the camera on while class is mandatory for both tutor and student to ensure interactive learning approach. If any of students do not do so, you are required to inform the parent or Guru At Home management for the same.

6) When you acknowledged a mentoring task, the rate is non-debatable once settled upon, be it verbally or composed

7) If there is a power outage or a network problem, you must immediately notify the Guru At Home management as well as the parent/student so that the scheduled class can be rescheduled and the parent and student do not have to wait; otherwise, a penalty of one-half of the session’s fee will be charged.

8) Fee installments will only be collected by the company for each and every month.

9) The installment to the coaches will be as indicated by the attendance sheet. In the event that any entry is deceiving Guru At Home has the full option to sack the installment for that class.

10) If a Tutor continues or discontinues the class without our permission then we are not liable for any kind of payment.

11) Attendance updating is mandatory according to the recent update. The class records must be updated in the spreadsheet that is shared with you on Google Sheet App within 24 hours post-class completion systematically alongside the topics failing which penalty can be charged / or we would be forced to not consider the class. Misleading and inaccurate updates or faltering with essential details may lead to a penalty and/or dismissal.

12) Classes must be conducted according to the schedule decided unless the client prefers otherwise. If the designated client fails to show up or cancels without updating us, you are required to inform the Guru At Home management without fail. Rescheduling or cancellations must be informed beforehand to the Guru At Home management and the client at least 3 hours prior to failing which we may consider as a half class or Rupees 100 as a penalty will be charged unless there is a medical or any other serious emergency. Tutors need to have a minimum percentile of 75 when it comes to taking classes and have the option to declare an emergency or reschedule the rest with an advance request.

13) A Tutor is bound to conduct weekly tests (at least 1 test in 2 weeks) and share Monthly Progress Reports and feedback to the Guru At Home Coordinator & Parents in the given format mandatorily with which the feedback of the student must be attached. Homework is to be assigned following each class within 2-3 hours of class dismissal. And regular evaluations of homework are necessary.

14) The demo class must be given extra dedication and attention for as it would influence the parent’s decision to invest in us, hence the first session is unpaid to make it more appealing to our customers. The minimum time to give out a demo session is 40 minutes and the link should be shared 4 hours before the commencement of the class.

15) Tutors are expected to not indulge in personal activities like making calls or texting during the classes as the entire focus is required to be on the pupil and teaching. This is to demonstrate the formal and dedicated attributes of our tutors which would influence our brand reputation. The enhanced quality of tutoring recorded by the feedback provided will certainly be recognized and applauded by Guru At Home.

16) If anyone is found breaching the contract or involved in direct dealing with our clients unethically, a penalty of Rs 10,000 will be chargeable & he/she would be responsible for facing legal actions.

17) In case, due to any reason you wish to discontinue your agreement with Guru At Home, a notice period of 1 month has to be served if any tuitions are assigned to you at that moment.

18) Enrolling with Guru At Home doesn’t ensure educational cost task occupations to you, as employments are allocated dependent on educational cost request and how well guides coordinate with the client’s prerequisites.

19) Beginning with the upcoming payment cycle, we will be processing tutor payments by 15th of each month for the previous month’s services rendered.

 

TERMS OF SERVICE (for Parent / Student):

PAYMENT POLICY:

1) Customer can’t give the concluded charge to the tutor legitimately or without informing Guru at Home Coordinators
2) Student have to take the chosen number of sessions in any case it is not happening then you need to inform Guru at Home representative before.
3) Guru at Home can ask for the advance payment.Furthermore, have full right to stop the classes in the occurrence of non payment.
4) When the amount is decided it isn’t debatable after the demo class.
5) On the off chance that the classes stop from the mentor’s side the sum is refundable.        

REFUND POLICY:

At Guru At Home, we are committed to providing high-quality services to our customers. However, we understand that sometimes circumstances may arise that require a refund.

1) If you are not satisfied with our services and wish to stop classes, we will provide a full refund for any remaining sessions that have not been used.
2) Refunds will be issued within 3-4 business days of receiving the request.

Please note that refunds will only be issued for remaining sessions that have not been used. No refunds will be issued for sessions that have already been completed.
